Have you ever noticed that the people that talk a lot and monopolize every conversation are the same people that always complain that other people talk too much?  I’ve noticed this disturbing trend in every workplace that I’ve been a part of but especially in my present digs.  I’ve also noticed a pretty significant ethnic concentration towards the type of people that exhibit this personality trait, but I’ll leave that for our politicians to figure out. 

Not that Operation Enduring Freedom really promotes a lot of confidence, but… you know.

American:  “So like I was saying…”

Canadian:  (interrupting)  “Can I finish?  Can I finish?  CAN I FINISH?”

(pregnant pause)

Canadian:  “OK, I’m finished.”
